We had an outage lasting approximately 45 minutes tonight at approximately 10:45pm to 11:30pm PST. The issue was caused by our upstream provider making updates to their VLANs and replacing our VLAN configuration in the process.

The issue was caused by mistake and our providers have now added our core switches to their monitoring systems to prevent this kind of failure from happening un-noticed again.
